The Half-Life 2 fan project: Epistle 3 announces a technical demo

The Project Borealis studio, made up of Half-Life fans from around the world, has presented a new update of their current work: Half-Life 2: Epistle 3, based on the screenplay by Half-Life scriptwriter Marc Laidlaw.

The aforementioned update includes the announcement of his next technical demo, a re-imagining of the city of Ravenholm and a new visual concept of the characters.

The technical demo will allow players to provide their comments and opinions to the development team. " Ravenholm offers an obvious opportunity to put our skills into practice, taking one of the favourite locations of Half-Life 2 fans ." 14 years later, this fictional city looks better than ever in Unreal Engine 4.

On the other hand, in regard to conceptual art, new designs for the enemy Headcrab Zombie, as well as the allied NPCs are shown.

For more information about the work of these fans, we invite you to visit their website at the following link. In turn, they have shared two new images that have served to illustrate this news.
