Apparently, the company has sold more than 700 million consoles since the launch of NNES, between portable consoles and desktop. Of course, his latest creation, the hybrid Nintendo Switch, has contributed its huge grain of sand.

The debut of NES remained in the first place with its 61.91 million units sold, until the arrival of Wii, which broke into the market getting 101.63 million consoles. Nintendo Switch, for now, is doing a better performance than Wii U, with its 19.67 million consoles sold.
